First, I want to thank all readers of the story for their support!

I want to reiterate that the story is purely fiction and is in no way meant as a political statement.

I know that the election has created some tensions and I am not trying to make any statements that have anything to do with that.

The plot of the story and the majority of the actual text was drafted weeks ago. I had no way of knowing what would transpire. Were some of the actions in the story inspired by actual events? Sure. But anyone actually reading the story and paying attention to details will see that this is not grounded in reality.

Heavens help us if it ever is!

I have received comments and private messages that I should not have 'politics' in my stories. I'm sorry--anyone writing TG stories that are in any way, shape, or form 'realistic' are going to have some political or religious elements. That being said, this is fiction and not a political or religious diatribe.

I'm sorry if it's too close to comfort for some to enjoy at this point and time. But, there are reasons for certain elements of the story to move the plot along.

I hope that some readers can get past that and enjoy the overall story.

HUGS!

They all make political statements. Does anyone complain?

I agree

Being LGBT in the USA inevitably involves the individual in politics or religion or often both. America needs to do a hell of a lot of healing for the rifts are huge. I believe the rifts have always been deep, deep down there but only recently have the socially tectonic forces reached breaking point and come to the surface. The irony is that the forces to the right complain about 'big government' invading their lives while seemingly encouraging 'big religion' to do exactly the same thing - invade our lives. I'm secretly hoping that these tumultuous events will prove to be the last American revolution. It's about time Americans developed an evolutionary society and forsook their revolutionary mores.
