Everyone seems to be sharing their dreams, so I finally had one that folks here may find interesting.

I rarely recall my dreams in any real detail, but a couple of night ago I awoke with one that mostly stuck with me.

I dreamed that I was wearing what I could only describe as an LBD. It was black lace with cap sleeves and a decolletage that hinted at showing my nearly nonexistent cleavage. The dress struck me just about the knees but was mostly lace so I had on a mid-thigh back slip under it. This is the first dream I can remember where I was dressed en femme. What makes the dream interesting is what I was doing. I went several places and interacted with several people. These were people and places where I've never appeared as anything more than androgynous. Certainly not feminine. Yet while there talking with the people no one seemed to really pay any attention to how I was dressed.

If that were to happen in real life, my wife would be quit upset.

Lots of reasons we dream

Pleasure, the dream was family, fun, any number of pleasing things
Relief, things one can't or won't do in life is accomplished in a dream, and the opportunities are endless
precog, looking at future events and the reasons are again endless
problem solving, many have told me they receive answers to problems that frustrate them in the awake state
Trying to diagnose dreams is an effort in futility, as so much of the person's state of mind, physical health, and ten thousand other factors has to be entered into the equation.
The only answer is each person can take whatever they want away from their dreams.
