Forums:
I have had a look round the various buttons but I can't see how to add a story with a picture included. I think I have done it in the past but seem to have forgotten.
To add a story I copy and paste into the body box but any images are lost doing this.
Any easy way to include pictures?

The Eye
Where you enter the story (also this comment form), there's a click-on button with an eye. Look to its left -- a link button and an image button. You want the latter: You may also want to "browse" and upload your image to your images directory while you're in the image prompt.

So any image needs to be
So any image needs to be added to the text like this?
But that will mean uploading images to the directory and then adding them to the text, I was hoping for some way of posting text and images together.
Awkward
Since any reference you have to your image is to a file in a directory on your computer, it won't make any sense when the story (or blog or...) is uploaded to the BC servers. Even images that appear to be embedded in Word files often live somewhere else on your computer until rendered.
Thus, you have to upload your images to the server as well. Once that is done, you then have to link the spot in your post to the "local" copy of the image. It is worth uploading images in advance to save complications when you post.
Most of us do this all the time, especially if there is a picture in the story teaser. For example, I don't include a picture of a grakh in my chapters, I have uploaded one and put [[[put picture of grakh here]]] in my chapter teasers. Once the story is in the edit box I highlight the [[[...]]] and then replace it with as noted above.
