Looking for a Christmas related story that appeared here several years ago. It concerned a young (25 or so I gather) woman who had been offered hormones in exchange for ‘services’. She manages to escape then goes through a period of rehab. She goes home and finds that her parents are wanting to rent out a garage apartment they’ve built. The young woman shows up to look at it, really to check out her parents. They don’t know who she is due to hormones and surgeries until she tells them about a bike that she was given (as their son). Anyway, the rest of the story involves church and is a happily ever after. If anyone knows the name and author, I swear that I’ll download and save it. Thank you!!

That’s it!
That’s the one! Thank you, Sasha!!!
You realize...
This story is one of those where the comments are twice as long as the story, and it's not that short of a story. :) Worth reading. :)

Excerpt
Both her parents continued to look at her, disbelief warring with hope on their faces. Finally, Paul stood up and took her by the shoulders, lifting her from the couch. He wrapped his burly arms around her and lifted her from the floor, his own tears flowing onto her shoulder.
"I missed you too, Daddy," Bree whispered. "I missed you both so much."
