Everyone should know ASAP that Yahoo is shutting down their groups part of their web. Pretty short notice. There is a site telling everyone how to save all their data if they wish. I suggest one get after it if they have anything they wish to save. Personally I have nineteen years of posting to various groups and picking up information from individuals not found anywhere else. This will hit the smallest minority "T" the hardest because of the scarcity of info flowing from inside the T community itself rather than outsiders looking in thinking they know better than we do what is best for us.

For examples, one would never know several girls receive yearly prescriptions from their MD or health provider rather than a monthly or ninety day prescription. Talk about cutting costs on Dr. and lab visits. Many of the hormones the girls must take daily which cost two dollars a pill may be purchased for less than twenty cents a pill with the right discounts.

One girl floored me when she developed C breasts and a better female figure on 2mg of estradiol per day. That's station keeping strength not develop curves strength. GG go to that strength when menopause hits to keep their skin soft, emotions in check.

All that info and millions of pages of other data related to T is going to be flushed when Yahoo pulls the plug on groups. Want to know what MD in Taiwan and other overseas countries do SRS, what they charge, who the good ones are and which ones are no more than butchers? Soon gone. Want to know which clinics, support groups, Dr.s in the U.S. are supportive of Ts. Soon gone. Want to know more about the support and resources in the military, the VA and how to find it? No it isn't gone. It's on gov websites but lots of luck and going to be Hell finding it if one doesn't know where and what to look for. I believe they try and bury it but then I may be mistaken. It's gov bureaucracy normalcy after all.

So much data is going to be lost. I have over thirty years of research and over two thousand pages of the development of and support of Ts. None of it is organized. I couldn't find what I was looking for if I had a year to find it. But..., I have the knowledge of what has happened, mostly what is or isn't possible. Doing a net search will bring a lot of that back up because I know it is there, mostly. Yes, some has disappeared off the net just as Ts have come and gone or maybe only blended back into society. Many just quit tilting at the windmills feeling they will never make a difference and the world will never change. So they slip back into the shadows too.

Somebody push me off my soapbox and hose me down. Tell the girls I'm not rabid and I don't need shots..., I don't think. Okay, shoot me.

Sadly, life is too short to slay all the dragons, demons, and evil. But then, there probably never is enough time after thinking about it.

Sigh, not surprised, what I am surprised about they haven't done it sooner. Forums for the most part are going away as we have such things as Discord channels and the like.

you had to mention that horrid site I do not use and will never use.

facebook, just say no.

Stupidity is a capital offense. A summary not indictable.

Correction

Farcebook just don’t use.

I refuse to have anything to do with it.

My neighborhood is trying to have some kind of support thing on it and I just refuse.

What do you do...

... when that is the way people tell you can contact them?

Tough

If they care enough then they will find a way. A proper organization does not rely on a flimsy thing like social media to organize. Farcebook relies on this kind of inertia you spout to rope more people in. I refuse that shit.

Social media is a cancer and the only way to make it die is by not using it.

Social Media

Social media is an addictive drug and the only way to make it die is by going after the companies themselves. They are just as bad a street corner drug sellers and their suppliers.

Just a taste of how I feel about it.

It's also a lot like playing Telephone, if you have some in the middle deciding they want play a different game, or change the message for their own reason then the people down the line don't get the message (ie truth). i think it's doing more harm than good.
