"For the First Time in North America, a Woman Gives Birth After Uterus Transplant From a Deceased Donor"
Still in the clinical trial phase, but very interesting and well described below. No mention of course of the potential application to trans women.

It Will Happen.
My understanding is that women born with no Uterus are intersex, meaning not pure XX. I want say that they have a Y chromosome in the mix also, but do not know for sure. I've seen it somewhere but can not find it to quote it.
I think it is a certainty that Scientists will eventually grow almost any organ, and rejection will not be a factor because the organ is grown from donor tissue of the planned recipient. I've written about that eventuality in two or three of my stories.
In the past, the issue with using organs from cadavers has been rejection. I did notice that the birth was a C section, but don't know why? It could have been due to lack of development in the pelvis. The female pelvis is quite markedly different from the XY male one, the most significant part is that the XX female pelvis has a birthing canal.
Still, a very interesting development.
Rejection
That is a real concern.
My understanding is that since the uterus is not an essential organ for survival of the individual, it will probably be removed once the job is done to prevent needing to continue on anti-rejection meds.
That Seems Likely.
Regeneration is common among some animals, so perhaps if we understand that mechanism... In less than 100 years we will be growing body parts, should we survive.
Not
Not necessarily. Cis women can have fully functioning ovaries, uterus, womb and have XY chromosomes. Chromosomes are not as simple as 6th grade biology textbooks say. Just like cis men with XX chromosomes can get their lover pregnant. Or a cis man can wake up and find out he's intersex with a fully functioning uterus, ovaries, ect. Not sure how he went like 37 years without knowing, but it happens.

Bodies are not as simple as anti scientists want you to believe.

Cloning human replacement parts
They are already cloning heart valves in pigs in England. I don't remember what they are cloning in sheep besides other sheep. Dolly was the name of the first cloned sheep.
The scary part is what are the "brakes" on cloning? Star Wars and massive numbers of soldiers? Clone simple minded for slaves? Every horny millionaire want his own harem of Lolita s?
What isn't in the bible but dig deep enough and cloning is millions of years old. All those mythical beasts of fiction? Noah and the floods aren't the only time God cleansed the earth. Who did Cain marry? There are many unexplained appearances of people. They just happened?
This is a slippery slope easily abused by the unscrupulous

We Are Beset With The Unscrupulous
What was that movie with Schwarzenegger in it where he was a robot sent to kill a young woman. LOL, you only thought that was Sci Fi. I'm pretty sure that it was prophesy.
The Boys from Brazil...
... or maybe the boys from Trump Tower.

Umm
This is a lot of baseless accusations. Like... cloning is not mentioned millions of years ago... what? Where did Cain get a wife? I mean science explains this perfectly. And not to mention there was no global flood, just the mesopotamian flood, we have evidence of htat and it fits the bible's description. Never forget their language was not the same as ours. To them it "flooded their world" well their WORLD was that tiny piece of land, not all the humans that live on it.
Also those creatures may very well have been mutations grown from evolution. If they existed at all that is. I think they do, but so many creatures, IE: The Good Neighbors for instance have been around so much who knows when they were created.

Well, one of the biggest
Well, one of the biggest brakes on cloning is time. Another is education.
Clone armies? You'd have to grow them to adult size _quickly_, somehow give them training and basic education, _and_ manage to have all of those muscles work properly. Remember the months to learn to stagger, then years learning to walk properly, plus the constant body changes until you hit full growth, and having to retrain yourself for every one? (clumsy teenagers from growth spurts, especially post puberty?) Heck, just women becoming pregnant causes complaints about not being able to walk correctly. (shifting/loosening tendons and muscles, plus weight redistribution)
There was a grade B movie many years back about an island that had clones being raised for rich people to harvest organs after they grew up. That's about as close as you could get - you'd have to wait a minimum of 14 years for that clone to be a useful size.
With all that effort? It'd be easier to just work out how to clone individual organs instead. Cloning entire humans isn't likely to happen as much other than a novelty. Well, at least not for a very, very long time. It'll happen, sure, but mostly to make sure it works. Someone who wants twins, for example. They'll fertilize an egg, then clone it, then implant both. No moral or ethical wiggle room. Children are wanted, they just want two. Whether they're identical to start with, or different, doesn't matter to how they grow up.
I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.
It would be nice
If they'd abandon that goddamn Montreal criteria and burn it in a fire. Trans women DESERVE to be able to have these procedures. Plenty of Trans women want this! Myself included, hell I'd donate myself if it meant it'd work. Maybe I should look into that
