It's been a long time since I was on a chat site or used a chatroom. Also been years since I remember even having the necessary software.
Are there any still functioning that anyone would recommend to someone looking for some basic trans support?
And, what sort of software should I have to be able to connect to it?
Thanks,
-- Pippa.

Update
Okay, I finally remembered (actually Google told me) about IRC, found a page of IRC networks, and opened a web page to DALnet (www.dal.net).
I'm logged in there now in #transgender. Feel free to join me. Just put in a nickname and #transgender in the space for a chatroom.
I'll stick around for another 10 or 20 minutes, but if no one shows, I'll probably go run some errands.
Sorry,
I gave up. Tried other IRC nets. Some you have to be invited for. Others you need mIRC software.
I just wanted to talk to someone....
Oh, well. Some other time, I guess.
I still use the one I found on the front page here
a long while back on BCTS. But I strongly detest the built in widget it uses. Arwens Tear's(a former writer on BCTS, and a good friend of mine) set pigeon up for me once,But since I reinstalled my OS I have been unsuccessful in getting to run in IRC mode. Still looking for a PD or shareware IRC chat program to use. chat room link:

Having said that the built in widget works with the browser to chat.
Arwen and I are on discord here:

Thanks, But...
Looks like I need an invite to join you.
Not on the site
I put the link up on. just click on the link. We need to agree on a time. I'll be in 12PM Dallas time. See you there?
