The gist of the story is thus...
A police officer, not a big guy, kind of fem and small, goes on a stakeout dressed in female clothes as bait for a criminal.
In the evening they, he and his much more buch female partner end up in a fire fight and he gets shot and his groin area is basically destroyed. He then does not have much of a choice and they do an imprompto GRS on him.
I can remember reading to that part, but never finished so I have been searching every where to locate and finish this story.
Any help would be much appreciated.

The only story I can think of
The only story I can think of is Pillow Talk by Michele Nylons. I've only read the beginning of the story, so I don't know if there's a gunfight like you described, though.

... that was definitely not the story I was looking for. I am not very much into explicit stories like that and the whole energy of the story was more dealing with the transition and the relationship between the partners after the GRS. That is I think what drew me to the story more than anything.

... but it can not be that one. It is much older. Coming Out from under Cover is quite recent and distinctly remember reading it and thinking it had similar themes to the story I was looking for. The story I am looking for could be up to 10 years old, dating back to the first time I was a member here on BC. But you see I am not too sure. I have read so many stories on here, but this one sticks out as one that I never finished.
