Okay So I am first off curious if anyone pays much attention to Fictionmania, because I found that site before any BigCloset site. But mainly I am looking for a story, I was reminded of it because I saw SpaceTran and was like oh! I loved that story nostalgia ensued upon seeing Skipper as well and I had the thought, oh, I wonder what the name of that one story was. Anyway long story short I decided to reach out and see if anyone knew it, but as I had only seen it on Fictionmania I am not certain, and it was a few years ago.

SO the story starts off surrounding this kid who hears voices whenever he is in town, but when out in the fields (more like a hilly foresty area in, I want to say, England) he hears no voices and is fine. They take him to a mental hospital where he spends a good deal of time, and makes a great friend who can't really speak, but this kid could understand the friend who couldn't speak. Unfortunately they were separated and his friend in despair of not being able to communicate with anyone commits suicide. The boy runs away and hides himself as a girl on the streets as an underage prostitute at which point the voices in her head do a real excellent job at letting her avoid any STD's she could have gotten as well as the police.....here my memory gets fuzzy, but I remember later parts of the story.....Much later on in the story she is an dualsex person jumping around the US and the world, travelling. She has several kids and I forget how, but tons of money, she has long since found out she reads peoples minds, or at least hears their thoughts....

There is more, but I forget, if it comes to me before anyone has been able to help me out I will add it. Thanks much for the help in advance!

awesome!

Yep! That certainly sounds about right, no wonder I read SpaceTran and Skipper around the same time.....now if I could just find it somewhere, thanks for your help!

However I believe Beverly has pulled it down everywhere it was posted because (and some digging found this although I had forgotten from long ago when I first saw the story) it sounds like she is trying to get this story, at this point I suppose book, it was long, into print...Hope that goes well, because I certainly wouldn't mind buying it...
