I've found myself able to do some writing again.
For the past month or so, I've been working on an old story that was sitting around on my computer half-finished, working at least an hour a day. It's a Valentine's Day story, so I hope to complete it in the next two weeks. I'm posting this blog just to put a wee bit of pressure on myself.
It's probably not going to turn out as the best thing I've ever written; it's in my old writing style of putting in way too many details, so what probably should be a short story is ending up novel-length.

It's also got my mental juices going on thinking about continuing some of my other stuff. After I finish Valentine's Ball, I hope to get into the right mindset to finally get to Episode 25 of Stephanie's Deal, which takes place way back on Wednesday, February 6, 2008. The poor girl has been waiting for over a decade!

LOL!

Good to have you back Sweetie! Loving Hugs, Talia

I’ve wondered

if you were ever going to come back and finish Stephanie’s Deal. I was seriously considering messaging asking you if you’d have minded me doing a fan continuation so to speak. Now that you’re back writing though I’m not going to. Good luck and if you do get around to continuing Stephanie’s story then I’ll be waiting eagerly.

Not far

I missed Valentine's Day, but i should have that story finished this weekend. I've gotten over 70,000 words written, and according to my outline I only have 8 scenes left to write, which should work out to around twelve hours of writing. And if I can't find 12 hours of writing time in the next three days, you all have my permission to call me a lazy cow.

At my peak, I could get one of Stephanie's episodes done in a week, so I'm going to aim for doing Episode 25 in two, so look for it around March 10.

Melanie's challenge looks like fun, but I won't participate until Stephanie 25 is posted. Episode 26 is going to take an extra couple hours of research, because that's when the bridal party go to see the movie 27 Dresses, so I'll need to stream it and rewatch so I remember what happens in it. Although it would be nicely poetic if the movie happened in Episode 27, so I may try to find enough story to have something worth reading about fill some of the space between 25 which starts on Feb 6, and the movie on Feb 9.

Bye for now

Trouble

I'm not a lazy cow, but my computer might be. Last night it crashed on me with some kind of problem in a device driver. It's working now, but I don't know for how long. I need about five more hours of writing. If my story isn't up by tomorrow, it means my computer died. But it won't be lost - I've been backing it up on a USB stick just in case.
