I have finally returned after a few years away from this wonderful site. Its good to be back.

I was hoping for help in finding a story I read several years ago and want to read again. It was about a character who lives with their father in a world setting similar to (or is) the MORFs universe. The character (male gender in the beginning) goes through a slow transformation into a girl and the story explores their growth while dealing with the change.

The key information I remember about this story that made it different in a lot of ways is that the character's mother lived with them for a time when the character was younger, went through her own transformation from the stereotypical stay at home wife to a stereotypical Hollywood model. She got used to the change and then left the father and character with no warning and went off to be a Model and Actress. The main character has to deal with some abandonment issues due to this.

If anyone knows the name of this story and where I can find it please let me know. I appreciate all of the help!
