Corsets, Boning

The corset is an inexpensive one. Didn't cost me three or four hundred. Still..., Wore it all day yesterday and the same thing as every time I have worn it one of the stays, (boning, ribs) poked out the bottom.
Whether it is a corset, unwire bra, bustier, waist cincher, if they have wire, boning, stays, it seems the ends want to come out of their sheath. Discreet needle work fixes the problems for awhile. A lifetime fix didn't seem to be in the cards until. A dab of liquid silicone on the end of the offending boning, make sure to flatten between the fingers it on the stay before that necessary needle and thread closes the opening. The stay and the fabric will be bonded at the end. Put the undergarment aside for 24hrs to give the silicone time to cure before wearing it again. This works for those metal unwires in one's bras.

While on the subject of corsets. Yeah I know, more than what many here want to know. It takes getting the corset in the perfect position to give one's breasts that medieval exposed uplift look. Too high and the breasts are covered. Too low and the uplift is a pathetic almost there look. A corset pushes things up like no other article of clothing ever will. Trial and error ladies if one doesn't have experienced help with the first few times. Get it perfect and achieve that overflowing look with the right blouse. Whether it's one's Significant Other or the general population the effect is the same. Take your pepper spray in your purse.
Hugs everyone
always,
Barb
