Yup, its that time, in a couple of hours we set off for Sound of Music land!
Its been a tense few weeks with one thing and another, doing the training, booking accommodation etc not just for this trip but i'm taking a bunch of archaeologists across to Germany at the beginning of October too so there have been flights to book, monies to collect etc for that too! But its almost time to depart, a clean bike is in the car along with what seems like a ton of other kit plus a few clothes! The weather is booked, now I just need to get over the pre event nerves.
As I mentioned before, not sure if i'll get on line during the trip - I am taking my laptop so if the opportunity arises i'll try to post more from Gabs and co.
Todays chapter, Sentenced has more intrigue and story threads than my 320TPI race tyres!

Darn it. Now I have a NEW place to want to visit.
So, I guess we have to wonder if she wants to visit the land of the Sound of Music - which would be Salzburg or Burbank (20th Century Fox studios) (the two locations for filming), or the actual home of the von Trapp family. (One part of my family was the von Sperlings. We haven't figured out exactly where they were from in Europe, but signs point to Belgium)
