Sorry ladies and gentlemen, but there will be a delay in the posting of the final chapter of Flight of the Claymore. I will be honest. I have rewrote this chapter a few times already and have deleted those attempts. For whatever reason Terresa is refusing to let her story end but like all good things it must. I hope to be posting the last chapter sometime this weekend.

You know this story wants to continue into another book. Sounds like it's ready for the second generation of the last big series? With the Vanderbilts and others out there, plus the rebuilding from the Amazon war, sounds like there's plenty to keep the new couple busy. I'm sure mamas are almost to the point of happy to step down even at the end? Sorry, but sometimes encouragement to listen to the muse is needed. I have selfish motivations, I love the stories and hope to see them continue. Thanks for letting us know it's delayed, and I'm sure you'll come to the right decision for you and your muse. Please take the above as a bit of fun needling, that's all. :) I love your work and hope to continue to see it for a long time.

Rather than post, or try to fight the story into just one more chapter, why not go ahead and just write out what's coming to mind.
It may be a chapter and an epilogue, it might be the start of a new storyline, or it might be that you just have enough for another three chapters.
Either way, get it out, then step back for a day or so, and look at what you've written, and decide where it should be then.
Alles ist in Ordnung.
I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.

You've been posting your latest two stories like clockwork. When I didn't see the latest Claymore story I took a look at last weeks and figured, OK, that could be the ending. "-tbc-" could be referring to a whole new story line that might be written in the future, rather than next weeks installment.
I am SO glad to hear that another chapter will eventually be posted.
BTW, I'm pretty sure I haven't mentioned lately (days at least) just how much I love your stories. I love your stories JessWolf. I sincerely hope you spend many years happily writing and publishing more. (OK, maybe I threw in the "happily" part because I didn't want to look too greedy and selfish just hoping for more stories.)

I agree. There is too much unfinished business involving important characters for the story to conclude in 1 chapter without spin off stories. For example, what will happen to Emily? How will the Amazons’ conditioning be dealt with and by whom? Super Max prison, what happened with those who have been released? Sylvester, Silvia and many more?
