Does anyone know if C. Sprite continued her story "I Can't Go Home Like This" on another website or if someone wrote a Fan-Fiction continuation? The latest on her story page is Part 65, added 8-23-2002. I would appreciate any information anyone can provide. Thanks.

Difficult to Believe
Hard to believe it's been 16 years. Of course the story stopped right at the crisis point. Talk about a cliff hanger. Used to correspond with her; however, she just faded away. Same thing happened with her other series, Texas Gal.

Two Classics
Crystal is a great writer. The amount of detail in both Texas Gal and I Can't is amazing. I'm pretty sure those who read these stories are qualified to run a paper company and anchor a newscast.
If you haven't read these, you should, even though the endings aren't all wrapped up, the storyline is such that a Hollywood ending isn't required.
Crystal and I didn't always see eye-to-eye. She obviously was under pressure toward the end.
Without Crystal, I don't think I would have started writing TG fiction. She was an inspiration and a real sweetheart.
I miss her site, just for the automatic crawl, if nothing else -- even though I pulled all my stories from it twenty years ago. I was using "Jill M I" as a pseudonym at that time.

Too many pass through our lives
Crystal was one of those for me also. I've been told she is still out there. This happens a lot to many of those close to the gender divide or living on the wrong side of it from birth. And then there are those who call it quits (one way or another) as they drop out emotionally or physically. It's a hell of a ride both emotionally and physically for those caught up in the gender blender. The worse part is the lack of support, or the hate pointed at them while they are fighting their personal battles trying to find a comfort zone.
I believe war is easier. At least one usually knows who the enemy is supposed to be. Before I get slammed by all the vets, yes, I was in one of those hellacious wars.
hugs Angela, love your style of writing.
