I have to say that there is a reason why my wife and I were able to celebrate our 21st anniversary last evening.

How did we spend the evening,

well, I spent it taking the editing from Joni W on Jason's Story Part 9, applying it, posting it. With my Mets game on in the background. When my wife got home, I was prepared to put these things aside to go out with her and my son for a celebratory dinner.

What was her response, "Finish up getting that posted. Oh, the game is almost over... Let's go after."

I don't know what I did to be so lucky to find her back in college. Really it all happened because a friend of mine and a friend of hers, a lesbian couple decided we would make a good pair, and were frankly damned obnoxious about it. Inculding the night that we were all supposed to go to another mutual friends recital (he was a music major) and they both stood us up, so that we were there alone together.

That was roughly 24 years ago, so I guess they were right.
