Exiern
It has been around a while, but its still new enough to start at the beginning anf read it all without ruining a day. The artist has changed and while it is kind of poor at the start, it gets a lot better. I think the writier actually hired an artist to draw it. Look it over. Of course there is also, The mad scientist/devisor girl over at Girl Genius. It takes quite a while to go from the start, but it is worth it. http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php
Comics
Both Exiern and Girl Genius are wonderful. I recently found PS 238 which is done by another old Dragon Magazine comic alumna Aaron Williams. No TG but it is a riot dealing with a Elementary School for the kids of Superheroes.

Worth giving a look.

PS 238 is great
We used to have a supers game set in such a school. I remember one guy's character was SuperTot, a little girl with Superman like powers whose weakness (it was on her character sheet) was that she couldn't cross the street by herself. :)
My character had no super powers -- but her imaginary friend sure did! LOL.

Comics
I discovered Exiern a few months ago and I've found it really entertaining - still don't know how to pronunce it, tho!
Girl Genius is also fantastic - I appreciate the artwork in both of them, as well as the writing. GG's authors must be just incredibly inventive - just discovered a scifi comic by the same creators, Buck Godot, which has had me chuckling up a storm. I don't know if Girl Genius has a TG aspect to its plot, but there are implications of a revelation to come, by my reading...

Exiern in trouble
It's come to my attention that the TG webcomic, Exiern is in trouble and needs support. Please visit the site and if you can, donate or buy something. Thanks.

Still Here
Still getting referrals on occasion from this page.
Just for anyone who might be interested, Exiern (and spin-offs!) is still running in 2017 and no plans for ending anytime soon.
