The Governor said he was prepared to do a special session to try and pass that law anyway along with a few other of things he considers key conservative issues for Texas, to him.
So do not rest yet he is going to try again.

Abbott called for that and 20 other things. Prohibit private insurance from covering abortion, and other things to reduce government regulation of private business. Wait, what?
