The lone star state has apparently passed 'bathroom' legislation against transgender students, showing that the conservatives who control things there are still bent on bashing anyone who doesn't conform to their ideas of normality. I wish them happiness in their narrow and bitter lives.

Congratulations Texas
Another solution to a non-existant problem! This will stop those preverts from dressing up as a woman, and attacking little girls, Oh wait a minute, this has never occurred!
What's next, preventing dark skinned people from the front of the bus.

The Clock Just Struck Thirteen
Republicans might believe they're conducting business as usual in order to get the tax cuts they lust after, but their world is fouled by "alternative facts" and reverse logic.
Democrats are just as bad.
Supposedly our Congress is powerful and highly capable of seeking "truth". Yet, neither congressional committee that is "probing" the Russia question has seemingly found out anything, while the New York Times and the Washington Post are unearthing staggering discoveries on a daily basis.
Why aren't the leaks finding their way to the committees? Or aren't they?
Yet . . . we see mealy-mouthed politicians having the audacity to look into TV cameras and suggest "nothing to be seen here".
Is Congress totally inept, or are they motivated to keep the dark secrets to themselves?
All of this DC plumbing flows downhill to cesspools like Texas and North Carolina.
Read the awful certainty with which 1984 predicted this mess, and understand just how bad we've allowed things to become.
"Truth" isn't just some left-wing illusion. "Truth" does exist. Attacking the press and "political correctness" is right out of the Big Brother playbook. Both parties are guilty of this charade so that they can re-invent history. He who controls the past, controls the future.
We're heading toward a world of forced conformity.
Could it be that Kellyanne had a Freudian slip when she spoke of appliances that watch you? Are telescreens just around the corner?
Things would only have been marginally different under Hillary -- and not necessarily better.
Resist all government malicious behavior.
By the way . . . I paid over $250,000 in taxes in April and will pay about the same next year. I would love to pay less tax, but not at this price.

They first make mad. This is insanity of the first order. I'm surprised Hitler didn't think of this first. America is going down that pathway.
