So, you're in the mood to create a new story, but you don't really know what to write about? Then you may want to go to http://www.apolitical.info/webgame/plots/ and try out a nifty little plot generator. Even if you can't find the genre of the kind of story you'd like to create, the plot ideas it offers may still be able to get you started. :)

Giving plotting is usually my weak point - to the extent that I actually get myself tied up in narrative deadlocks and tangled thickets - maybe I should try it too. :-}

I think I've read something close to this around here: "The heroes must shield an energy source in a brothel, but have to contend with artificial life, and opposition from a tycoon trying to copy the DNA of the heroes."

Sounds like we've gotten some interesting plot lines from this little plot generating utility. I'd love to hear if anyone was able to find something they were able to turn into a story. Even though what the utility provides isn't especially verbose, it does seem to create something that could be the spark of an idea. :)

I think I probably spent at least that much time playing the game before I came across the plot generator. :)
