When I saw that my latest story had 1547 reads I was reminded of the year 1547 when for a few days a truly formidable (positively or negatively) set of monarchs ruled in various countries in Europe at the same time:

Francois I in France
Charles V in the still undiveded Habsburg empire
Suleiman the Magnificient in the Ottoman empire
Ivan the Terrible Tsar of All the Russias
Gustav I in Sweden
Sigismund I (with Bona Sforza) in Poland

Interesting Coincidence 1547
When I first saw this post yesterday it had been posted 15 hours and 47 minutes earlier. I thought it was some sort of trick, but no, it was an amazing coincidence that had nothing to do with the end of the world or the return of the Messiah.
