Well with 2 exasperations of my copd in one month my doc ordered lung xrays.
Got those done yesterday morning. This afternoon I got called to see her about the results.
1) Results normally take 2 business days to get back to her, one day is very fast.
2) She doesn't go over results with patients without patient request unless there is bad news.
my appointment is Wednesday.

but at least you'll have someone on the case
if something is wrong, she sounds like they are gonna work on it right away, which is good.
true enough
but my worst case is for copd, what if it is a different health problem?
stress about possible lung cancer.
the unknown bad results are just worries and stress, which are causes for more problems with my copd.
Stupidity is a capital offense. A summary not indictable.
We're thinking of you
Radiology probably wants to come under the wire for the 2016 billings. Bean counters love to remind those who do the real work of the importance of such things.
We don't know of course what you may learn on Wednesday but with the doc knowing more, perhaps the management of your disease can be more effective. I'm sure we're all hoping it will be so for you.
