When you are out shopping please remember the children you don't have anything and buy something extra for the TOYS FOR TOTS program most Mc D's have a collection bin , you don't need to spend a lot does buys a plushie will help as kids you don't have will be happy just finding something on Christmas morning . Put a smile on a kids face PLEASE

Every Christmas - and I can't walk by a Salvation Army bell ringer without dropping a few dollars in the bucket.
I used to volunteer to ring the bell with my youngest son, but due to my transition he is no longer interested, and that pretty much killed my motivation to do it.

Remember, Sally Ann, or the Salvation Army, is a church and actively discriminates against LGBT people. Far better to volunteer at a true charity. I like to volunteer at a local charity, I know the people involved and the money or work helps the people in my city.

I also give the kids collecting for the teams they play for I figure a dollar won't hurt me and if everybody gives a dollar what a helpful thing it would be
