bag 5 of saline solution. pitcher 6 of water and they still don't think I'm getting enough fluids. ( 4 cups of coffee, milk, apple juice as well. )
so sitting ( lying ) on the bed bored to tears. ( 25 minutes to load the my blog page here :\ )
not even allowed to walk on my own yet.

Sounds familiar
After my surgery in 2001, I had to stay in bed for a week locked in place with an anti-thrombosis cuffs on each leg. It was awful getting up after that week in bed and taking my first shower in all that time. I felt weaker then a kitten on its death bed.
The aches and pain will
The aches and pain will subside, but the feeling of content and completeness will last forever. I hope you are at least able to read if only to keep your mind sharp.
