Yes, Port of Arrival is finally published, the follow-up to Port of Departure. Here are the links to the Amazon pages and, well, I think I'm going to pour myself a glass of wine and relax for a little bit ...

Enjoy your wine!
Meanwhile I think I'll enjoy a good book.

So, who's idea was the opposing ships on the new covers? I like it !

I liked the old covers
but the new ones are really nice.
Enough about the covers
Karin has created an incredible book to read. She may be too exhausted after writing it to be planning a sequel, but it would be wonderful if she did. The characters are just simply ones where you feel sad to say goodbye.
I'll be re-reading Port of Departure so I can admire again the way she tied the two books together while still letting each stand on its own. (And so I can delay the goodbye for a little.). I also enjoy the music I discover by following the references. Wonderful books.
One more thing
The sly reference to something from Bike was great. Makes me wonder how many more I've missed.
Left A Whopping Great Elephant in the Room
Karin left a WHOPPING GREAT ELEPHANT in the room at the end of the book and I'm not going to say what it was obviously. But she clearly is planing at least a third book.

Been waiting and waiting. Got you a name; “Port of Entry” -- Ben might like it.
