I am enjoying another vacation, of sorts. I haven't gone anywhere, but my friends are away for the entire month of June, leaving me free to indulge in some long overdue ... experimentation. I've been making some online purchases over the last few weeks in preparation, and I'm prepared to make a few preliminary observations:

  1. Corsets aren't nearly as uncomfortable as I expected, and what they do for my figure is worth it. Care does need to be taken, however. I got a little too enthusiastic lacing it up last night and my legs started getting numb.
  2. Breastforms are likewise a pleasant surprise. If you've ready my stories you probably know I have a thing for large breasts, and so I got forms that are supposed to be DD. The glue i got with them was the spray kind and it was a major pain, very messy. Fortunately, I anticipated this possibility and got a couple of jars of Uro-bond IV, a medical adhesive that uses the same ingredient as the spray, but brushes on. It holds these puppies quite well without any support, and since it brushes on, you can touch up as needed too.
  3. High heels are torture. I probably went overboard here, and the fact that I ordered a size to large probably isn't helping. It's not the walking so much, it's the standing that hurts. At least I haven't fallen yet.
  4. The bra isn't as bad as I feared either. This isn't the first time I've worn one, but it is the first time I've worn one that was properly sized. Unless I actually think about it, I really don't notice it's there.
  5. Long nails are kinda like being handicapped. Every task involving my hands takes much longer than normal, like typing this blog. I'm sure I can eventualyy adapt; I'm actually doing much better already, but simple things like picking up a quarter are still major challenges.
  6. Dresses feel good.
  7. Stockings feel really good, especially on smooth, hairless legs. on that note, I found this hair remover at Walgreen's called Hansen for Men that works really well. Other products I've tried did okay on my legs, but were useless on my chest. This stuff left eve that stubborn area very smoooth, and while there was a little irritation it's nothing compared to what I get from shaving.
  8. Applying false eyelashes is DEFINITELY an art.

I was out on the back porch a few minutes ago, just enjoying the night. We don't have neighbors on one side, and the people on the other side have a tall privacy fence so I felt safe. I did get a little nervous when I saw a boat not far away on the lake, and when it started up the canal towards me I got real nervous and decided to go inside. I couldn't move very fast in these heels, and by the time I got to the sliding doors they were passing right by our dock. I figured since all the light was coming from inside, the best they'd see was a silhouette. Then I heard a very loud wolf-whistle.

I guess he liked the silhouette.
