long journey?

August 1995 until September 2016 is definitely a long journey.

and yeah, I am lucky they will operate, because of my COPD. that is usually a no-go for them to operate.

Stupidity is a capital offense. A summary not indictable.

Good luck

As usual it is a mixed blessing. Surgical recovery is never a fun thing and dilation will be a lifelong pain in the vagina.

Cool news though!

better a pain in the vagina than a pain in the ___. ;)

Pain in the hoohoo?

Are you saying your dilation is still painful... or did you mean it as a colloquialism for annoying as hello?

Dayna.

Depends

How often you do it will determine how painful. For me, if it is once a week then it is minimal.

Two weeks, and it will take more effort and I start to feel the separation of tissues that dilation is meant to accomplish. Three weeks and ouch. A lot more effort is needed to regain depth as the tissues are starting to knit together. 1.5 hours of dilation and one starts off with a thinner dilator before using the biggest dilator.

September!!

A most beautiful time in Montréal. I didn't realize that they would be back open so soon after having a nut job try to set the clinic on fire. Enjoy your visit there and take a couple of days before your check in date to actually see more than the airport and the ride to the north shore of Montréal's island.

PM me if you wish any more local information - Pierre is only about 30 to 40 kilometres from me. He performed his magic for me in 2011.

May the sun always shine on your parade

I thought

it was the offices rather than the surgical facility the nutbar torched. those would easily be repaired.

with my copd I'm lucky they will operate, usually respiratory health issues like that they say nope.

hmm, wonder if my nephew or cousin will still be in Montreal in sept. I know my mom is planning on coming out for a couple of days and coming back home with me.

Pain in the ...

Agree with the sentiment of better a pain in the vagina than the other one.

Been a long road for you it seems but the end is close (few months) now.

Happy for you.
