I just got an email allegedly from Lulu asking me to update my credit card information! !!!!! I've not given them any of my CC info, in fact I don't remember buying anything from them at all. I deleted it without opening it. So if you see it pop up on your email inbox, I suggest you think about it before opening it.

I just received a email stating that they are changing CC processer vendors and that on your next purchase you will need to re-enter your payment information. This May or may not be the email you are referring to but if ever you have a question if an email is real, DELETE IT. :)

I also got the email saying LuLu is updating their CC processor. I've always used PayPal I think. I feel the letter is legit as it states they are taking the site down for a period to make the change. It doesn't say to enter your info now, just that if you purchase again, you will need to re-enter your information.

With all the hoo-raw about the latest bug that's gonna eat my harddrive, and tech people like kimcommando saying if you click on a link you're screwed, I read the subject line very carefully. Yeah, I'm a coward.
I went outside once. The graphics weren' that great.
You're not a coward.
Just cautious. Which is a good thing. 90% of user computer compromises are now cause by phishing emails. And antivirus software is really the last line of defense and doesn't catch a lot of these infections initially. Best way to keep safe is don't click. It's not a guarantee but is sure helps.
