Your thoughts and prayers greatly helped.

My last blog I stated I was going into the hospital for a triple bypass open heart surgery.

However, I never do things half way. When they opened me up they discovered I needed 6 bypasses.

Needless to say my surgery was bit more complicated than anticipated. I spent 8 days hospitalized before being discharged.

My youngest sister took a week away from work to assist me at home. Her assistance was greatly appreciated and made my return easier. Sis returned home yesterday and my daughter arrived today to help'

I'm walking better each day and feel myself growing stronger. It'll be 2-3 months for a decent recovery but I'm heading in the right direction.

hope you feel better...

Please, please, please take things slow and easy. Don't rush trying to get back to normal. This sort of thing is my biggest fear, I hate hearing that other people have to endure it so please for your own sake take things slow and easy.

That's what they want

When I had my quad bypass a few years back the doctor had me up and walking on the second day. I wasn't happy about that, the PT actually made me walk the day I was discharged before she'd sign the release.

Oh crud, I meant not

Oh crud, I meant not overexerting rather than being sedentary. You are right about getting some exercise and moving around that is needed.

Get well soon

Heal well, thank you for the progress report; you know that we worry when our friends are away. A renewed life awaits :)

I'm glad you're doing better and recovering now. My wife only had a triple bypassa few years ago.

I know it's a long road back, but I hope you get a full recovery.
