Well I'm back in England - for a few weeks at least, so I present to you the next part of Culture Clash.
My trip to the Spreewald Marathon was quite successful - a total ride time of 6:35 for the 203km was a new personal best for the event despite the damp on the day. My actual ride time gave an average of almost 32kph/21mph which I'm quite proud of, I doubt i'll come close to that next week in the Tour de Yorkshire event!
On the way back I stopped off to visit friends, some of you might remember Sidonie from near Dusseldorf? well she had a stroke @ 4 years ago and now lives in a nursing home which isn't much fun, she asked that I pass on her best wishes to everyone. She only has rare computer access (for reasons too complicated to go into here) but if anyone would like to visit etc send me a pm and i'll pass it along.
Back home does mean more scribbling - there should be a new 'book' in a fortnight, continuing the Wunderkinds adventures.
Because of my ride next Sunday the next update will likely be early so keep a look out!

See you did well Please! Maddy I am having trouble logging into lulu. You see I do it like this, I type maddy bell gaby, enter, then all about Gaby comes up normally lulu is there and I usually go into them and buy Gaby stories but there is no lulu there maybe it is my tablet? Love your work Maddy. Natasha
the problem
Has to be at your end as there is no problem with Lulu. Try going direct into lulu.com then search.

Welcome back
I was beginning to wonder if you had made a wrong turn and were still out there. Good going that. Friday off work to go and watch the start of the TDY, it only being about 20 miles away.
I hope Sidonie still has some contacts and friends to visit. Isolation is not a nice feeling.
