Well, as I sit here contemplating the Firefly fanfic, I am reminded its time to start cooking. My daughter and her family is coming into town for the next 4 days, and my niece that I raised got a car finally (the head gasket let go on her other one), so she and her family will be her every night about for a while, and my other niece I raised will be around with her family all weekend, so there will be about 20-25 people here depending on if Scotty and crew shows up, and any of my brothers show up with their families. Tomorrow is the monthly birthday get together for the May birthdays. (including my 56th a week ago), so everyone will be here. We have at least three every month except one, so this is the easy way to do it. May there are 5. Anyway, I probably won't get a lot of puter time, much less where I can read these pages......On the other hand, the Best buy service people called today and they figured out what is wrong with my laptop that I was able to use in private on wireless. I was using it, reading a file when it quit. Went into hibernation out of the blue and would not restart...nothing at all. He said he tried a different power source and it came right on...the battery was dead. I figured it was gonna cost me a ton (The warranty expired just before Christams 2007. I had it plugged in and I thought the battery was fully charged (it is only good for about 20 minutes on battery, so I leave it plugged in mostly. I even have a converter for use in the car. Anyway, they said the power pack/converter/charger was bad. I already had to pay them 85.00 when I dropped it off. Its gonna cost me another 95.00 for a new converter/charger. He said it was about 175.00. Add the cost of a battery if I wanted one, and I basically got the computer free almost. It was a present, but guess who worked for the money that was spent on it.

Anyway, Becky is not really any better. With the kids comong in, I had things to do, and she didn't want to be left alone...I didn't want to leave her alone), so I had to take her with me. Just walking to the car and then driving around wal-mart a couple of times wiped her out for the rest of the day both times. Its all she can do to make it to the bath on her own. So this weekend is gonna be tough on her and me.

But watch out, as soon as I can the bad attitude, silly jokes, and comments, and trouble making will return when able.

I've been wondering how Becky was doing.

I hadn't heard for a while until today, when Maggie the Kitten and Scotty arrived for the weekend.
I hope things go well for you and your family this weekend.
We are hoping to have a good time here, with part of our extended virtual family.
Shalimar moved in with me last October, but this weekend we have added Maggie, Scotty, RachelAnne & Jaymee, and will be leaving to go pick up Heather Rose Brown in about 20 minutes.
Either tomorrow or Sunday, we are expecting to see a couple of other Top Shelf authors for a few hours, The little 800 sq ft house is going to be packed, giggle
