I live about 60 miles northwest of Philadelphia. Over the weekend we had a bit of snow... the local paper claims 31 inches. Needless to say I was snowed in but fortunately never lost electric power. Physically, it was quite tough on me.
In 2000 I had a total right knee replacement. November 2104 I had a spinal laminectromy, and in December I had a total left knee replacement. Fortunately I have a snowblower but still spent 7 hours digging out. Needless to say my new knee wasn't too happy with me. No damage, just ache & fatigue.
Did anyone else have fun in the snow?

Snow?
It never snows here which I am glad about. Besides it's summer here and I don't think 30+°C are conducive to snow.

What's "snow"?
I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.
Were you there?
Christmas Eve 2004? Winter of 2009-2010 (if I recall the years correctly)?
The web still has nice pictures of Victoria and other places in 2004, such as Galveston with snow-covered palm trees.

Strangely enough, Galveston, Texas City, Rosharon, and Alvin got that. Further north (Cypress, etc) got nothing.

We haven't had much snow here and it's melted.
But I have had a lot of fun making fun the East Coast, who seems to be surprised by this substance known as snow. It happens every year, but they always react as if it some new alien substance that they have never seen before. (Actually in some places they react that way if it happens again later in the winter.)
getting snow now
having a nice good snowfall right now..
You can have it all back
Florida
This is why I moved to Florida in 1990 couldn't take the cold and snow anymore. My older son saw snow in Salt Lake City over the new years weekend (business trip) first time in 25 years .

Oh, yes, lots of fun. I had a bit less snow, but still in the 25 to 30 inch range. Fortunately all my original joints and such work well so I was able to spend about 10 or so hours over three days digging out. It's enough to make a girl want to move south!

Where is the rest
Where is the rest of the story how about finishing the story
Story? What story?
Story? What story?
I also hope you don't actually post to authors in that manner. I'd smack you for it, personally. The folks here are writing for themselves, not for us. If you want someone to write for you, save up a chunk of wonga and offer it up.
