I'm having trouble gettin to the Movies (Turnaround & Strange Wine). When entering the 'special' username/password, it returns the error "Sorry, unrecognized username or password."

Strange. I had the same problem I had the last time and had to "rescue" and rename the file from my Mozilla cache to play it. I've downloaded a bunch of movies and this is the only place I've had that particular glitch. Weird - and I'll bet it wouldn't happen with IE.

It wasn't a browser problem. It did the same thing on IE, Mozilla, and Firefox.
I had my Winamp player set as the default for .wmv files. It plays them fine after they're downloaded, but for some reason it's buggy in the way it plays it as it's set up on BC. I changed my default player for .wmv to the Windows Media Player, and it started playing almost instantly.

This , and Strange Brew, were so great that I went and got the software myself ( like I have any time to play with it - yea, that's me - plenty of time! )
Keep it up! It looks like the " TheMovies" also supports real voices ( just from reading the material ) - have you tried that yet? I also have some ideas on how to "fudge" some effects that are not standard, but I'll contact you directly...
Can't wait to see the next production!

can't run movie
I just registered onto site! What do I need to do to watch movie? I've used both login recipes from e-mail? Any help?
The login and password for the movie...
...are different than the login and password for this site. Everyone's login and password for the movie are the same, tgmovies and bigcloset.

Just use the username and password in the instructions. tgmovies for the username and bigcloset for the password.

It was stopping for me ...
... but then I moused over to the link, right-clicked and selected "Download Linked File." It bypassed the password protection, dumped the movie on my desktop, and I watched it all the way through. I'm using Safari on a Macintosh running OS 10.4.
Turnaround was great work and a good story. But I feel sorry for Charlie's Mom when Rachael wakes up insisting she ISN'T Charlie. Of course, the book is still at Charlie's place, and probably open to page 32. *grins* If Rachael is as smart as she thinks she is, she just might get her body back -- for as long as it takes Charlie to re-read the page and hide the book.

I have to give you a standing ovation on this one. It was the most amazing animated film I've ever seen. You did a splendid job with both the plot and the characters. How long did it take you to make this? I know these things don't happen over night.
One question, do you have a rated X version? I would like to see some sex and bondage. Put me on your mailing list. I would love to see any of your future works. Looking forward to you next movie.

Thanks Dee! 'The Movies' seems like a fun toy. I thought that the dialog was a little stilted and there were spelling mistakes. The plot was pretty thin too. But I suppose that is to be expected when you're learning a new storytelling system. I'm sure that your movies will improve with experience.
I had no problem with downloading and watching the movie. I just followed Erin's instructions. The movie started playing about 3 seconds after I submitted the password. I have a broadband connection, Windows XP pro and am using firefox as my browser.

Dee Janes, I seem to be having a problem trying to see the movie. My windows player says I cannot access the file. It said it was either in use, or I did not have access writes to the file. Has something been done that may have secured it?
When Strange wine came out I had no problem seeing it. I used the same name and password as that one. I will try downloadeing it again to see if it works.

Wow, I've played The Movies a bit but all my stars turned into drunks. I'm going to have to look into it some more now. But I don't expect to be compeating w/ you for the Oscars any time soon.
St. Vitus Dance...
This is great fun, and I'm sure a lot of effort went into it. The software has a way to go though; the characters look as if they're suffering from St. Vitus Dance.

Great Movie
Love the story! Too bad it seems so disjointed physically! Love to see this with live actors! Hope we get to see how 'Charles' likes his new body! Maybe see the new Claire rub it in?
