Ahh well, the last lung function test showed me having a 15% drop in airflow, this morning another test, yet a further 3% reduction.
I am able to exhale a maximum of 36% of every breath I inhale in 1 second. Yup, 64% of every breath gets trapped in my lungs according to the doctors. I can exhale the remaining 64%, but that takes another 20 seconds.
at 50, I should be exhaling 90% + of each breath in that first second.

Are you sure it's VERY wrong?
Are you sure it's VERY wrong? Airflow isn't the same as capacity of lungs.
yup I'm sure
severe COPD and adult onset Asthma, both cause restricted airflow.
Stupidity is a capital offense. A summary not indictable.
have they suggested any treatment?
sounds serious enough they should be working on something to help you
puffers hon
Combivent Respimat ( ventolyn and atrovent combined ), Symbicort ( Budesonide and formoterol combined ) and Spiriva.
I'll likely have my cause of death be lung related illness. pneumonia being most likely even though I have gotten the once a decade vaccination for it.
reduced airflow is a normal part of aging, if we lost the 1% per year for our lungs to quit at 200 years old, my lungs are currently 130 years old. ( our lungs would last 200 years if we live that long and never expose them to pollutants, like any scented product. )
