Just one aspect mentioned - The effects on Gender Stereotypes
Sex Robots:
They will come to be, so just SOME of the questions are;
How will this effects relationships with other humans?
How will this effects perception if the sex act it self?
How will this effects Gender Roles in general?
The article mentions "reinforcing gender stereotypes", but could it also break them?
Might it also promote experimenting, and therefore more diversity,
since your robot partner will not Judge you?
Or will people just stay home and play with their bots in private?
Will this be helpful or harmful to real relationships?
Will it help or harm further those who do not fit the so called "Norm"?
No matter what you think about it, we will have to deal with this,
Possibly sooner then you think!
