But then again, it has been bred into the female genome to do so as instinct drives them to choose a strong mate to protect their offspring. This is more useful in a primitive society but less so in a 'civilized' society.
Still, the horrible behavior of males without restraint is being played out in ISIS and India.
Luckily for me I don't prefer males or an aggressive masculine partner anyway.

How many of us are sexually active?
I am afraid that I did not think this whole thing through before I started it. First, I intended to just have an orchiectomy, and get rid of my annoying sex drive. My big issue at the time and still is that I am one of those annoying people of faith, but let's not allow this thread to be about that. Neither of us is going to change the other a bit.
Somehow, after the orchiectomy I bungled my way into wanting to be a "whole woman". I'd inexplicably gotten the idea that living as a woman would be a good idea. Before my SRS, I did stupidly have encounters with two different men, one who I gave a really bad blow job, and the other who was going to take me by the arse. I scared the hell out of the poor guy when I went into a Dissociative state that left me completely unconscious for around a half hour. When he got me wakened, he was out that door as fast as a shot. I took HIV tests for several months and my conscience was shattered.
So, then it was clear that this girl would not be in coitus with anyone without a wedding ring, and perhaps not then. So, perhaps all this surgery and trying to convince myself is a waste of time.
This leads me to ask how many of us post op ladies actually are sexually active? I've previously had the idea that not many of us are. This leads me to wonder just what I was thinking?

you do know that there are multiple tiers in trans folk, based on income mostly.
The "street entrenched" tier are those working the sex trade, and pre or post op, they are quite active sexually, outside of the working the stroll aspect.
When you get to the tiers away from the street, you do find a lot less sexual activity.
I think it has to do less with income level [ even though income helps define the tiers ] and more to do with expectations. Those that are not sex trade expect relationships that fulfill needs other than sex, so they look less to hook up and more for the commitment. Those that have or are working the streets, tend to think sex / hookup first, if not only.
I know I myself am more interested in the non-sexual intimacy that comes with a relationship, it is much more important to me. Not that I'm not interested in the sexual aspect, just it isn't as important.

I've not been forced to do street work in the sex trade, though it got very close in 2008, despite my supposedly high "morals". It would have been hopeless, and extremely dangerous for me because I was 60 at that time. One friend said I would be killed very soon. Thankfully things changed and I did not have to do that.
Several times I have been told that those who try to approach me, I push away. It is not something I am conscious of and it leaves me absolutely void of close friends, save one or two at times.
In another life, another time perhaps it could have been different. I'm a late life Asperger's diagnosis person. Is that why?
