Circumstances mean I will not get to see this series Ang but I hold out hopes that it will be of a quality that allows my family and friends to imagine what it was like to transition 40 years ago - something I suspect they have never considered justifying their attitudes by saying that it was always obvious I was female. From my point of view they, however misguidedly, treated me as male until I said enough!!!
