Just a quick few lines to ask those who have uploaded stuff to Amazon for Kindle how they got the TG or LGBT.
I have tried, but sadly I appear to have been unsuccessful in finding it in the categories. Amazon are a little tight on categories and tags, so if anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks peeps,

Sending to Kindle
I've sent stories as .txt documents attached to an email. Your email address is your Kindle user name and @kindle.com.
I think you may have
I think you may have misunderstood what I meant. I already have a story that I posted several years ago. However, if I search for my story under TG or LGBT, which I have put in the tags, I can't find it. I have also looked under fiction and erotica and cannot find LGBT or TG under those headings either.
I know many authors who post here have done it successfully, but I can't for the life of me find out where to find the specific categories I am looking for.
There are none
There is no transgender category that you can select on kindle. There are some transgender categories of SALES but those are not selectable when putting your book in. Amazon creates those and decides willy-nilly which books fit in them. Mostly, I put books in various Gay and Gay Romance categories, bad fit that those are. There is, I believe, ONE TG category for youth fiction.

I'll bear that in mind.

getting in the right genre
I might as well reply and piss more people off.
There are several designated LGBT genres as Amazon seems to be shifting over to include transgender as it's own thing. There is a dedicated transgender romance and transgender erotica under the appropriate headings.
These are the catagories you can actual pick yourself
Juvenile->LGBT
NonFiction -> Biographies
Fiction->Drama->LGBT
These are some catagories that exist but you can't chose.
Romance -> Transgender
Erotica -> Transgender
Science Fiction -> Transgender
I'm sure there are more, I don't have time to search
Fiction -> Transgender
Here is a link showing some http://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/digital-text/156424011/...
The important thing to do is double check that your genre exist. Then with the first keyword type in that genre. I.e. "Transgender science fiction" then give amazon no more than three days. If they don't move you into the correct genre contact them. They are pretty good at obliging.
