I read this interesting piece this morning and thought it would be worthwhile sending a link,even though it is in the Daily Wail.
I can sympathise with her early years, which echo in some respects mine, but I am glad that I transitioned some twenty odd years ago.

As Early As Age Four
Lots of us know very early that our bodies are wrong. In my case, I just knew that I was more like Mom and my Sister, and that my brothers and HIM were not nice and I was not like them.
Like many of us, I was beaten and bullied out of being me. This is not a new revelation, and I am glad that some are finally pulling their fingers out.
