I can't help but post because I have had folks come and ask me what was going on here. That there seems to be some stuff going on that's really cis centric and kind of making some of ghe folks here feel unsafe.
Seriously this is a friendly space and it should be a safe one.

Vague complaints about "something"
Vague complaints about "something" mean nothing. I'm demoting this blog off the front page because the complaint apparently originated on FB and does not seem to have anything to do with BC, in fact.

I was just hoping for some awareness to watch stuff posted with deadnames and misgendering in it.

Frankly, I'm not sure what deadnames are. And people linking to news stories where misgendering happens are people linking to news stories. I have removed TONS of stuff that is likely to offend someone but people can always take offense: it's free, after all.
I just don't know what it is that you want me to do, in a specific sense and not in a vague complaint. I'm here everyday, I police the blogs and comments and so does Cat. I can't see everything and maybe something doesn't trigger something in me if I don't see it as basically unfriendly.
In those cases, I need specific complaints so I can get an idea of what kind of thing we are talking about.
