And we in the USA are still waiting for the supreme court to decide .
Sadly
The republic is still way behind the times when it comes to contraception and abortion.

Abortion is illegal except when a life is in danger. As a result many hundreds of women cross the Irish Sea every year to England, Wales or Scotland for the procedure.
I know that this topic is very sensitive in certain parts of the USA who seem to still reject/ignore the USSC Roe vs Wade decision.
Then there is the little matter of Alabama where it is illegal for a midwife to assist at a home birth. What is a midwife trained to do but to help women when they give birth?
I know I digress but there are still many issues with equality of healthcare for women in the USA.
