I just wanted to let everyone know about a movie I stumbled across tonight.
For one of the very few times it's happened, I found a movie, Boy Meets Girl,
that I wish I had written the story... and shockingly enough, it was a story that
I almost could have. And... I was floored.

Not just a sensitive exploration of what it means to be trans and to be friends with someone who is trans, but also a good story and a good movie. And I did almost write this story, it's so much like a parallel of Sledgehammer that I was almost floored. :)

I don't usually watch these things because the makers just don't fuckin get it. Maybe I'll have to have a look.

Its very safe in my opinion and done very well. The characters are very real and the humor is in good taste.

I really enjoyed this a lot :)

Is a movie called Girl Meets Girl that is the flip side of this. T-Girl meets Boy, tries sex and then winds up with gorgeous lesbian/bi woman.

I Watched It Today

I thought it was very good - A very positive story. I appreciated that one of the main characters is transgender (instead of a male or female actor playing transgender).

Thanks to enemyoffun and Sarah Lynn for creating threads about the film. Thanks also to others who have provided links to additional info.

Got a copy(ordered online), Just watched it.
Great movie, Well done. I recommend this one.

It would say it also could be useful to open a dialog,
a way to bring up the topic, for those not sure where to start.
Just a thought.
