Has anyone else actually listened to the lyrics for Disney's 'Let it go' and thought that it would make a great TG anthem?
As a silly competition idea does anyone have any other suggestions for an off the wall TG anthem ( e.g. Rodney Atkins "If you're goin' through Hell")?

I thought about this the other day when Robbie Williams' song played on the radio:
I was her / She was me / We were one - that trio of lyrics alone should be enough to get you thinking along lines other than those Robbie intended :)
And with a bit of imagination (female persona talking to male persona rather than ex-girlfriend to former lover), you could even twist I Will Survive to suit.
A few years ago, there was a "Musical Motif Challenge" - build a story (any length) around a song / musical motif. Perhaps we could resurrect it? :)

I am roughly a contralto but am not in Idina Merzel's class to say the least. Oh well.
Strangely I can just about manage 'part of your world', one the the classics now and forget about 'reflection' as I have the wrong voice for it.
But yes, 'let it go' is the millennium generation's battle song I think.

Sound Tracks of Our Lives
I find I must take an entirely different approach than my Anglo-Irish co-conspirator when it comes to music. There is, in my opinion, no one song that can encapsulate the journey many of us take as we venture forth on this most unusual, but often necessary, adventure. Rather, music is the sound track of my life. I know, it is a cliché, but one that is true.
The songs that have always been important to me are quite an eclectic collection. Some reflect the friendships that have been so important to me, such as ‘For Good.’ Others reflect the era when I began my journey, for society in the 1980’s were not as accommodating to folks like us as it is now. Hence the inclusion of ‘Danger Zone.’
Any who, that's my story and I'm sticking' to it.
