Author:
Hi everyone,
phew!
We now have a third author contributing to the Anmarian world.
What with writing the next Julina episodes, proofreading for other authors, writing the last Chivan episode, and bouncing ideas off poor beleaguered Penny, I am slowly beginning to drown in the whole thing.
My index thingy ( http://bigclosetr.us/topshelf/fiction/48235/julina-blackston... ) is getting to be a small monster now.
I am hoping that I could set up something along the lines of Sherlock Holmes' "Baker Street Irregulars" and ask for some assistance.
I need to find spelling mistakes, missing entries, wrong associations, wrong attributions and all the other things that could go wrong.
Also I need suggestions for, say, streamlining it, or rejiggling the sequencing and so on and so forth.
Might I please request that you fans of Anmar drop me a note with requests or notes of errors and the like? Anything that could help improve the service I provide.
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Julia

Why not just start a wiki?
That way everything can be maintained by users and/or authors as they see a need?

Wiki
It has possibilities, but there are downsides.
Like having to have a separate website to go to to get information...
which means somebody has to host said website...
which means somebody has to find a suitable domain name to host it under.
Not impossible, but it just leaves us with another problem, having to look after a website, etc.
I don't know if BCTS (via Drupal) has anything like that we could use internally. If so, it could have helped other universes.
Of course, if this monster makes a break from BC then all bets are off and we'd have to start thinking in other terms anyway.

Created a monster?
Who would have thought that a single, well written story would create such attention? Quite fascinating actually.
Wiki Hosting
While there probably is a wiki module for Drupal, it's not something we are looking to install at the moment. BigCloset is currently on a Feature Hold while we work on another project and work on improving BC's database performance.
In the mean time, there are many free wiki services like Wikia, and don't forget that you can Host/Install your very own wiki quite easily (and inexpensively) while supporting BigCloset by buying hosting from QnEZ or CyberBrats.
Via both services you can setup Forums, Blogs, Wiki's using a variety of software (Like WordPress, Drupal, SMF, Dokuwiki, etc) with just a few clicks. The server will even keep the software up to date and secure while making backups before every upgrade (on top of standard account backups).
