I was remembering and going through some older stories and fun time I had with them (It would be nice to see all star Maiden by Decree read by people again) and remembered Edeyn´s stories - mainly my favourite Violet Ajah and Sk8r Grrls.
Since Edeyn had both mainly pulled down for rewrite, only shards of them remain here on BCT. If there would be an interest, I have original 27 chapters of Sk8r Grrls still saved on HDD, so their re-upload would not be problem if anyone is still interested in them.

Also it´s too bad, that people will never again read her completed version of Violet Ajah, she said in March 2012 she was nearly ready with publication, but sadly never did T_T.

She definitely was one of few best authors on this site and I miss her works. Time flies by. It´s hard to believe, it´s already two years.

So please, remember Edeyn Hannah Blackeney, read and enjoy her beautiful works.

I was lucky enough

... to have met her. We had a pleasant afternoon talking about things. She left Arkansas only days later.

I remember her stories

I remember her stories as well as a few other authors who unpublished/deleted their stories for the great rewrite and then died or got too busy with real life to come back to them.

I know they are your stories and you can do what you want with them.

The question I have is do you really need to unpublish/delete your stories to rewrite or can't you just post MK II of the story as it is ready and leave MK I until all of MK II is published before removing MK I.

It seems we loose so much more of an author than new stories when their published works are deleted. I know no one plans on events overtaking their lives but it happens.

Can unpublished/deleted stories be restored and should they? Does BC have a policy on posthumous restoration?

Not sure what to do

Perhaps Lisa, Edeyn's friend, will have an opinion?

Contact

And could you please contact her and ask about it?

She's there
