with anyone here, especially those from the U.K.? Jenny used to be a regular at Storysite and in the chats there. She published some stories and her "Britionary" there. She left quite awhile ago and hasn't been seen or heard of in several years.
If anyone knows her or knows where one can get hold of her, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks and Merry Christmas to all,

The current version of her address still reads 'Under Construction.' I remember her from when I first tarted reading TG fiction. The story sample links still work.

In Memoriam Updated :(
So due to my research, I have had to update the In Memoriam. Jennifer Jane Pope (Bob Jenkins) was a VERY AWESOME Person. She meant something very special to me, and Kim and Bill, and unfortunately Passed away at Age 62, due to Prostate Cancer.

Very sad...
I'm very sorry to learn of another loss.

Really sad to hear that.
She started an on-line writers course and I joined it. It was a bit sporadic but one of the exercises ended with a posted story of mine (not now on-line). Her stories were brilliant and always had a quirky humour woven into the fabric. We communicated quite bit until she stopped writing. I still have all her stories on my HD. Speaking as one who will be 75 in a few weeks, 62 is very young to die. She was, as Piper says, awesome and very generous with her time.
She stopped writing to help run her family business which was a currency exchange based in Portsmouth. I suppose with all the main land European countries that the Portsmouth ferries served changing over to the Euro the business was model probably became less viable. Her web site and the business web site were very similar.

So is there an online archive anywhere
There are some remnants among the old geocities clone (oocities) sites but no archive. That is the danger of the new internet age, things have become too ephemeral, with no real memory. There is no internet equivalent of the US Library of Congress.
So sorry to hear it
So sorry to hear it. Jennifer and I became online friends for a few years, back when I first starting reviewing, and she was just lovely. So willing to share experiences, advice, and support. She's a great loss as an author, but even more as a friend.

I wasn't
aware of the details, I had heard she did die. Cryin shame. Definitely follow the links to get to Terr Anne's page as Booted and Suited goes for 9 chapters instead of the one on the original JJ Pope site. Well worth reading.
