I've been wondering if anyone here has done any TG Fan Fic based Upon game of thrones? Perhaps there would be copyright issues. I do not know how all that works.

fan fic is not affected by copyright
I wouldn't mind seeing it, but it would probably help if I knew more about the books or the tv series ...

The books were interesting but the series relies and on seems only for shock value. What started out as realism became beyond gratuitous.
Shock value
I have read 50 shades, and the Game of Thrones video seems much more graphic to me. Did not expect full frontal nudity with Daenerys Targaryen, though in final analysis, it fit situation.
Actually, that's not true
Fan fiction is in something of a gray area legally... it sometimes gets by under application of 'fair use' but there are more than a few situations where a fair use defense does not hold up in court for fan fiction. This is especially true in circumstances where the fan fiction uses the central characters or elements of the original story in ways that could constitute another story that 'could yet be written' by the original author. The further from the natural progression of the original, the more likely it will be 'safe' because the creation of that fanfic does not potentially conflict with the future earnings/value of the original universe. And the more valuable the original copyright is worth, the less likely any derivative work will be classified as fair use... because the higher value copyright has more potential to have its worth damaged by the creation of those works.
Of course, I'm not a copyright lawyer... but this is how it has been explained to me.
Fan Fiction
GRRM does not allow fan fiction to be written about A Song of Ice and Fire. See relevant blog post by him regarding the legalities and his view on the subject. He has aggressively gone after people and sites that do this. That doesn't mean he will go after everyone. You take your chances there. The most that would probably happen is a CAD notice to take it down.
With that being said, Game of Thrones is an HBO show and he doesn't have any say in the matter. They allow, or at the very least ignore, fan fiction about the show.

I want to know when there will be TG Fan Fic based on Wildcards. I suppose I'll have to add it to my list of things to write.

Wild cards
Those stories are ancient now - but still good. I read the first dozen or so but then they seemed to change and I could never find the new ones anyway.
