Five years and 21 hours, according to the counter. I'm sure I didn't register at midnight BST, so I think I'll take the hours figure with a pinch of salt :)
I've really got to wean myself off spending so much time on FB - the queue of stories / chapter I'm intending to read but haven't got around to yet grows by the day!
Then again, the main culprits at getting me so engaged on FB are TopShelfers (AP, BS and TL in particular - you know who you are!)...
Of course, at the moment it doesn't help we're having what counts in the UK as a heatwave - temperatures of around 28°C (82°F) during the day, dropping to around 21°C (70°F) at night.
In other news, I'm awaiting the paperwork for a new job starting September that pays £7,000 more (slightly less net as it's twice the commute and could cost £4/day to park), so later this year I should be able to contribute towards feeding Schrödinger (what else would you call a cat in a box?!) and clearing my overdraft :)

I'll get back to that, plus serveral other stories I've got in limbo.
With that one in particular, while I have a vague idea of what she'll do between manifestation and Whateley, I've got to find a sensible sequence, not get bogged down in detail, but still make it entertaining (since, being Britain, she isn't going to have H1! threatening to burn down her house, and I deliberately strayed away from making her an Exemplar).
As the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body, then only left-handers are in their right mind!

We're just having our normal temperatures. Highs in the 90's, lows in the mid 70's. Humidity between 60 and 80%.
Interestingly enough, with "Global Warming", almost all of our record highs were recorded between 1946 and 1972. Of that group, most of those were between '46 and '62.
Record lows had more in the last 30 years than record highs, but still more spread out in the 40's through 60's.
I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.
