Aardvark

Printer-friendly version

I was looking around the internet for stories by Aardvark. It seems it has been about 2008 since he posted anything. I really liked his "Warrior of Batuk". Any ideas where he is?

Last I saw of Aardvark they

Last I saw of Aardvark they were removing one of my favorite stories from BC.

Warrior from Batuk was great but my favorite was Sappho.

Sappho was a story about a deep space explorer who finds a lost colony of Earth. The story follows as the explorer visits the three countries. Paglia is a political country, Wolf is ruled by a monarchy and knowledge center and Stern is a farming country ruled by priestess's.

I managed to get a copy of it for my personal enjoyment before it was gone. I haven't seen Aardvark post since then. It's a shame as Aardvark is a great author.

Doug logs in frequently and will speak, or not, as it pleases him, I suppose. :)

2009

I had an exchange with him in 2009, where he gave me a critical review of one of my stories. Apparently it wasn't perfect, but was "pretty good". LOL - Far better response than I was expecting.

So, as of then, he still poked his head in here.
