I don't even know anymore. I guess I'm a chronic alcoholic because last night I woke up about 1:30 in the morning not even remembering I had drank a single drink. I woke up looking at the clock and going "oh god... if I don't set my alarm I'm going to be late for work." And so I woe and set my alarm and set out all my clothes and all that and then, well... I had weird dreams. Like of being stranded out at sea, maybe a victim of a ship sinking, I don't know. But out at sea and then I saw this huge shark. Maybe a whale shark. Moving nice and slow and then smaller sharks, maybe great white sharks, taking casual afternoon snacks off it, like the bigger shark was twinkie or something. I don't know. And then I found myself climbing out of the water, right up the bite wounds like they were ladder steps in the side of the shark and then up and into a cargo ship's hold. It was more like a hobo entering a box car though. As I climbed up I saw other "hobos" there and they said "If you can make it, you can have any spot in the place you want" but none of them helped me climb up into the box car. I managed though and at that moment I realized I wasn't my normal self but a little girl, and not even of my race. I was an african girl, with a grandmother beside me, leading me up the brutal steps of the shark into the shark's hold. I remember a long voyage after that, and remebered the terrible feeling that somebody was going to come through the door leading to our cargo chamber, and one day that door did open. It opened and in came some men to kick out the "hobos" of our little trip, they threw out out the side of the ship saying "get out" or whatnot and we splashed into the water. I thought I was being put into the middle of the ocean but realized I was being ejected at port. I swam to shore and some other "hobo" that I had befriended said "Why worry? You're free. At least you're in America now." And I realized... I was. I was free. How crazy is that? Anyhow I thought to write that into a story and I realized that I couldn't do my dream any justice so I blogged it instead. The name of the shark ship I was on, by the way, was the Mary McCoy. I googled that and didn't find much on "Mary McCoy anyhow, except maybe someone belonging to the hatfields and the McCoys."

Well, you're not alone :)

I have weird dreams like that, too. Always have. Some of them I write into stories.

Hugs,
Erin

Ooookayyyyyy -- John says and backs away slowly --

What a weird dream.

Are you on or off you're meds and if you are on them, were can I get some?

That was right up there with my A Day in the Life. Mondo bizzare.

Far freakn' out, dude.

Oh no, a sixties flashback!

Wierd dreams happen...

And, as few stories as I've had - one or two have actually made it in as well.

Cherish the wierd and the strange, as well as the normal. Besides reminding you you're alive, they umm, well they do. Yeah, that's it, they do. Some spark conversations anyway...

Thanks for the comments.

Thanks for the comments. No, wasn't on drugs but had lots of alcohol the night before so I guess my synapses were swimming. I hate nights like that, aside from the dream which had that rare TG element in it that doesn't normally appear in my dreams. Once every three years or so I get a TG dream. This one just depresses me because that means I have to wait about 3 more years now for the next. /sigh. Maybe through lucid dreaming but that drains me and I wake up feeling like I haven't slept at all (maybe because the conscious mind is used too much when it should be resting).

I am reading this thinking Hotel California "You can stay as long as you like but you can never leave" ...EEEP!
Perchance were there any mushrooms in your dinner last night? =)
